Susan Day Cakes has enjoyed a long association with the cake consuming public of Australia. In fact, our brand is 59 years old, making it one of the oldest cake manufacturing brands in the country.
Founded in 1951, Susan Day Cakes operated from a manufacturing facility in Hawthorn, before making the move to a new manufacturing site in Hallam in 2000.
Initially, our cakes were sold across Melbourne through corner stores, and later in supermarkets. But over the years their popularity increased and the brand gradually spread across Victoria, and then Australia.
Mid 2011 Susan Day merged with the local cake bakery Cottage cakes , producing cake range that uses on the finest natural products and ingredients. Now every day, thousands of Australian’s enjoy cakes from the yummy and diverse Susan Day and Cottage cakes range.
